The replacement of the current cable cars “Col Checrouit – Cresta Youla” and “Cresta Youla – Cresta d’Arp” is carried out with the construction of a single “bifune cable car with back and forth motorcycles” type that starting from Col Checrouit will reach directly the Cresta d’Arp.
Although the facility is mainly designed for the winter transport of skiers uphill, the technical choices made still allow the multi-seasonal service both uphill and downhill.
The project includes state-of-the-art stations, both in technical and energy terms, and a state-of-the-art cableway system to replace the old system dated 1961-1963 which is now obsolete.
